A former sake brewery with 150 years of history and
local prominence, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea
Mitoyotsuru, a former sake brewery overlooking the Seto Inland Sea in Mitoyo, Kagawa Prefecture, holds around 150 years of history and was a favorite local community spot.
The brewery created sake from rice produced by the high-quality Seto Inland Sea water, and the vast facilities of the brewery and the local climate brought people together. We see potential in the spatial value that remains at Mitoyotsuru, and decided to transform it into a place where new ideas, values, and people can gather together.

Mitoyotsuru Sake Ennichi 2023.9
元酒蔵で地酒を楽しむイベントSAKE ENNICHI（酒縁日）。約150年の歴史がある元酒造の三豊鶴を利用し、地酒や酒造タンクに描かれたアート作品、酒蔵DJなど、食べて、見て、聞いての五感で楽しめるイベントです。
飲み比べでは県内の地酒「西野金陵」「川鶴酒造」「綾菊酒造」「小豆島酒造」の4種を味わうことができ、ステージイベントの和太鼓や落語などを楽しみながらお酒を愉しむ人々の姿がみられました。
普段は宿泊客のみの醸造大浴場やサウナも特別に一般に開放されるだけでなく子ども向けウォーターガン大会も同時開催し、家族連れでも楽しめるイベントになりました。
